‘The Walking Dead’ Calls It Quits, Daryl And Carol Spin-Off Planned
AMC has pulled the plug on its flagship show, The Walking Dead. Although, it’s not as dramatic as it sounds. The series will go away in a few years, but the franchise will remain with several spin-off shows (and movies) happening within the same universe. The Walking Dead will end after its 11th season, but that won’t be for awhile. Season 11 will consist of 24 episodes and they’ll air over two years. Fans will get 12 in 2021 and the final 12 in 2022. How the most successful horror series in TV history would end has always been a source of speculation amongst fans. Robert Kirkman’s source comic book is vast, containing enough material for a very long time. But AMC has decided to wrap it up.
