Peskov: The Kremlin does not see topics for negotiations on Azovstal
Moscow reminded the “forgetful” President of Ukraine that people can leave the plant at any moment
Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov responded to an earlier statement by Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky about readiness for “urgent negotiations” on the situation around the Azovstal metallurgical plant.

According to words Peskov, this initiative looks strange, since the Kremlin does not see any topics for negotiations, TASS reports.
“Civilians can leave (from Azovstal” – ed.) and go in any direction. The military must lay down their arms and also go out. They will be spared their lives. All the wounded and sick will be given medical assistance… What can be a topic for negotiations?” Peskov replied.
Recall that earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, following his talks with UN Secretary General António Guterres, said he was ready to start “immediate negotiations on the evacuation of people from Azovstal”.
