More than 3 thousand people with COVID-19 were hospitalized in Russia per day
During the day, 38,739 new cases of COVID-19 infection were detected in Russia. This was reported at the federal operational headquarters for combating infection.
A day earlier in The country registered 40 017 new infected coronavirus.
It is noted that during the day in Russia 3,154 people were hospitalized , which is 4.4% less than the day before. Growth in the number hospitalizations are recorded in 32 subjects of the country, decrease – in 46 regions. The situation has not changed in seven subjects of the Russian Federation.
According to the headquarters, 57,937 people recovered in a day . 109 people became victims of the disease over the past 24 hours.
Earlier, Vladimir Chulanov, chief infectious disease specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, said that the number of Russians infected with coronavirus could increase to 100 thousand per day. In this regard, he urged the citizens of the Russian Federation to be vaccinated and not to forget to wear masks in public places.
