A Very Drunk R2-D2 and Other Never-Before-Heard Tales From The ‘Star Wars’ Set

Four months after the release of the first Star Wars film, ABC aired a documentary called The Making of Star Wars. It featured interviews with the cast and George Lucas and showed behind-the-scenes footage of several scenes. Although The Making of Star Wars is credited to documentary director and producer Robert Guenette, the first man they hired to get some production footage of Star Wars was British commercial producer and director Peter Shillingford, who is credited with providing additional photography in the final cut.
